“American Babel” (I’m sorry if things are spelled wrong, my spell check only works part time? I tried.) Plus I use no AI, at least you can tell the difference here.
Intro -
Starting note - I believe and am pointing out that America has some glaring similitudes to descriptors of Babylon. As America is highly mysterious in many ways, when I started reading The Bible and it spoke of "Mystery Babylon", in my view America has some interesting potential and rare ability to meet the description.
I'm not the first to think this, of course. But I hope to tie it together in a pretty hard to deny fashion.
The connections I'm presenting here are basic and intellectual dots, for those that haven't made the connections yet. I find it’s easier to connect the spiritual dots if the intellectual ones are done first. Maybe that’s true? I hope so.
These things don't cast America in the greatest light, in our time. But I keep in mind things like Isaiah 19:25. Except the element of Sodom all these places also have favor from The Lord as well. America seems the same in that respect, but when they fall out of that favor via what boils down to severe paganism and idolatry, things go wrong.
If I am accurate in what I asses, then I'd also tie this message into 2nd Chronicles 20, as an example of what we should be like and what our hope should be like in such a scenario.
Ideally you know where you are at (under the sun, and post Jesus) and what Jesus said about the world and its works, they are ????
They are evil. They hated Jesus, because He testified of this fact as pointed out in places like John 7:7.
Let me ask you, do you think our time is more or less deceptive and evil? Hmmm.
Sodom, Egypt, and Babylon. Empirical traits of America are tied into what we find in The Bible about these places.
This is important in a sense, I believe, because Revelation.
Let's begin...
I'm not saying that we are like these places, I'm saying we seem to far exceed them in their ways! Because we live in a special time, the end times. It's not exactly like the other times, we are allowed to go for it in ways unavailable and unimaginable to other times.
Below are 6 core ways we are like Babylon, and how we match or exceed it. My argument is that we are like Babylon on crack, basically.
BABYLON & America
Pre considerations.
First let it be noted that in Genesis God comes down to look at their work. It is said that He stopped that, lest they fill the face of the earth with cities and nothing would be impossible for them. They were already to the point of being able to do what we have done in that respect, it just wasn't time for that yet. It wasn't the end times, yet. But here we are now, BEHOLD!
For now just observe, we have filled the face of the earth with city's and we even fly like the birds of the air. We have jets and AI powered systems and rockets and nuclear powers that can rain fire from the sky. We have towers that communicate up to the heavens, on and on. Also it's a world system, it's not just America. It’s not all America’s doing, don’t worry. The eagle has a few heads, I’d reckon.
Also notable as to Revelation is Babylon the Great is noted for spreading her sexual immorality all over the world.
I'm pretty sure we have taken that to totally new levels of absurdity.
OK, now on to the similitudes that Babylon is well known for...
Direct Similitudes
1. Pride and Arrogance - Babylon, especially under kings like Nebuchadnezzar, was known for its immense power and grandeur, leading to a spirit of arrogance and self-exaltation.
Isaiah likens Babylon's pride to Lucifer's desire to ascend to the heavens and elevate his throne above God.
King Nebuchadnezzar's boasts about the city's greatness led to his temporary humbling by God.
SIMLITUDE EXCEEDED - America the Great. Make America Great again. American Greatness. America is the Greatest nation of all time? Outside of America, our arrogance is often used as a descriptor instead of our own greatness. I could stop here or go on forever.
Who wants to literally ascend to mars? Who claims to have ascended to the luminary that is the moon? What country wants to build a nuclear reactor on the moon? Check it out if you don’t believe. Seems like a lot of Babel.
The spirit of arrogance with so much pride our people literally made up a festival and sub culture that doesn't even bother to call it anything other than what it is… "Pride". That is the more extreme example, but the fact that it exist, is the point.
Besides the obvious and never ending examples, look up the most popular musicians. They are purposefully arrogant and in live lifestyles of arrogance, excess, and materialism. That is what they are paid to promote!
They are what they are, little idols.
Our lifestyle is known as the American Dream, and that means get rich or die trying, for many. Last night I happened to see a clip of the President, talking about how hot our country is and how much money is coming in. It’s like watching a reality TV version of the movie Ideocracy. Oh it’s hot alright, and the whole world knows it. That is probably true.
America is known for bringing about the "western world" with all it's modernity. Just as Babylon was known for being a remarkable empire, so are we. Proud and arrogant, to the max. New records!
2. Idolatry & FALSE WORSHIP - Babylon was a major center of idolatry in the ancient world, with a pantheon of gods and elaborate rituals dedicated to them.
The Bible condemns Babylon's idols as futile and impotent, contrasting them with the power of the living God.
Idolatry in Babylon is seen as a symbol of human pride and rejection of God's sovereignty.
SIMLITUDE EXCEEDED - America puts Babylon to shame in this sense. Not only did we bring forth the black box but have really upped the game as of late. We even have TV shows proudly named stuff like "American IDOL". We idolize America and any little god imaginable.
This is proudly promoted as part of our national heritage too, freedom of religion (any and all gods are welcome).
Mostly we prefer various forms of human idolatry and I'd say we specialize in hero and fantasy idolatry.
Singers, sports, movies, any entertainment form conceivable.
Somehow it’s not obvious, but perhaps it’s due to the nature of idoatry?
Not to say idol idolatry isn't a thing, it is. We have lot's of statues too and there is the more traditional Baal/Ishtar/Moloch style worship if you look into that, but I don't recommend. It's not needed to make the point true.
Where I live all I have to do is look out a window to see a golden angel statue. And that's just one form. Interestingly people don't seem to even connect that at all to idolatry? If I point out that there is a giant golden angel all over the place, it's like well.. that's different? Certainly it's not worship of a fallen angel? Even despite this angel delivering a new doctrine that has proven to be highly successful in the world, with a portfolio approaching nearly 300 BILLION. How long, LORD?
At least it’s not a calf? And rather a fallen angel!? Lolol, this place is too crazy.
We have so many idols we don't even consider anything idolatry.
If you want to be the best at futile and impotent idolatry? America set new standards in this field too. We have Santa, bunnies, Disney, the list goes on. Forever.
And such practices are considered pagan idolatry in The Bible. Pay no mind to that. Watch my video "these freaking pagans" if you want proof that this stuff is pagan by nature. It's getting pretty old, to be told otherwise and hear it justified. I’m sick of it, personally.
Plus we are revolutionizing idolatry as we speak! We are taking it to brand new levels as far as any one living knows. Robots are available for sexual idolatry and defilement, right now! They aren't what they will be in the coming years, but still, there is a variety to choose from even at this moment. This is getting pretty scary.
Wait till you see the one that will demand your worship, you think that's a far off thing? Pay no mind to Revelation 13 either. An actually non human idol that can speak? Sounds like mystery Babylon up in here to me. What is the mystery, I'm not sure? Just the fact this is still a mystery, I suppose? And indeed, that is mysterious! So The Word is true, as always.
3. Materialism and Luxury
Babylon was exceedingly wealthy and prosperous, obsessed with materialism, luxury, and extravagance.
The city's extensive trade in luxurious goods, as described in Revelation 18, is highlighted as a source of the earth's merchants' wealth.
Babylon's wealth is portrayed as fleeting and ultimately leading to its downfall, serving as a cautionary tale against placing trust in material riches
SIMLITUDE EXCEEDED - Well, we threw that caution to the wind! No one has quite done it like America, Amen? It's pretty much the basis of our culture in many respects. No one consumes like America, past of present.
The other thing I'd point to on this subject is our national debt being in excess of 35 trillion! (Wow it's 37 already, I just re checked it!)
It’s quite impressive if you go watch the numbers spinning live. 37 trilly? Lolol!
GO America go! Btw, in 2017 it was something like 17 trillion… in our entire history.
Why do you think it's exploded in the last decade? Hmmm.
Seems pretty excessive to me. Seems like a lot of materialism and luxury.
It's not even fathomable before America, to spend that much or it's equivalent. Sorry Babylon, your feelings would be hurt.
It's hard to imagine a more materialistic world, but just when you think the absurdity has peaked we innovate.
It's not enough luxury and convenience to have cars, they should also drive themselves? Who wants to turn the lights on or press some buttons for a song, tell AI to do it. And AI will do it. But the final cost of that? Pshhh.
No flesh would survive at that point, and Jesus would have to return. So good job, keep it up.
4.Oppression and Cruelty:
Babylon is depicted as a ruthless empire that oppressed and mistreated conquered peoples, including the Israelites.
Habakkuk describes the Babylonians as a "bitter and hasty nation" that seizes dwellings not their own.
Babylon's treatment of the Israelites during the Babylonian captivity is highlighted as an example of its cruelty and injustic.
SIMLITUDE - I'm going to skip this one because of sensitive subject matter and history.
I'll say no contest on this one, but there are some highly questionable dark spots in this area, call it classified.
5. Rebellion Against God:
Babylon's origins can be traced back to the Tower of Babel, where people attempted to defy God's authority and make a name for themselves.
Throughout its history, Babylon is portrayed as a system or power that opposes God and His will.
The book of Revelation uses Babylon as a symbol of worldly corruption and opposition to God, representing any system or power that exalts itself above Him.
SIMLITUDE EXCEEDED - Again we are the ones that actually did and contributed to cities all over the face of the earth. Where Babylon fell short we succeeded, or were allowed to succeed, as America and therefore the world at large. More over we propagate these "towers" that send information all through space both in the heavens and through the earth.
How many towers are there and how many starlink satellite trains are covering the face of the earth?
If we could see them all it would trip us out!
When they connect it all with stargate and robots, can we call it Babylon, finally? Please?
We could wonder about Babylon and how they were trying to build a tower into the heavens. But does that even compare to our towers that do communicate into the heavens? Or certain peoples ambitions to go to let’s say mars? Besides trying to actually enter heaven and blow threw the firmament, there are endless examples of “scientific” pursuits that we could look at as abomination and rebellion.
I could go on and dive into the scientific endeavors spearheaded by America, but I would just never stop typing.
Do you get the point here? We are a rebellious nation. This one is too obvious to spend much more time on.
6. Deception and Sorcery:
Babylon is associated with sorcery and occult practices, which are condemned in the Bible.
Revelation states that all nations were deceived by Babylon's sorceries.
SIMLITUDE EXCEEDED - Again America makes them all look pretty silly. The nations aren't just deceived they are part of the dream! As to sorcery and magic, the very fact that you are now just realizing how Babylon we are says a lot. These levels of cognitive disconnect, can only be a product of sorcery. It’s as if they have been able to let us have The Bible, while at the same time having us so tranced out in the dream that we can’t connect the most basic of dot’s. It’s bizarre.
As alluded to over and over on the Tec, starting with stuff like TV has led into a mini black box glued to your hands with unlimited magic tricks. Not to even mention Pharma yet!
I don't think anyone from anytime could have imagined the world of pills, potions and drugs propagated through American ingenuity and demand. The medical industrial complex that ironically has shortened our life spans with all their magic. It is stunning and relentless, their pursuit of magic potions and solutions to the human condition, and everything else imaginable. Yet I’ll still hear people telling me about the marvels of modern medicine. What would we do without it!? Lol.
It's not as if they hide their allegiance either, so good on them. They rep the staff and snake, proudly.
I mean come on, all this stuff is so obvious? Literally every big industry is repped by occult symbolism.
Why do we think that might be? We typically don't know, since we are under sorcery and magic. It’s amazing!
Magic, unimaginable in former times. It kind of makes me wonder if the fallen ones might be at hand? Because how could this place get any more fallen? I’ll regret I asked that soon, I suspect. They always have a way!
Unimaginable levels of deception, Babylon would be in awe.
So that is my argument, of how America is like Babylon, in some important ways. Just a little, no?
At the least we aren't not like B/E/S! I can say that for certain. But for real, do you see the point?
Lastly... OK so if we are in this position?
We are in straight up trouble. But kind of like 2 Chron 20, it seems to me like we are at the stage where this news is delivered that there are big and dangerous armies sailing our way. They can't defeat them, and must totally rely on God. For real.
The thing is, I would say we are in a much scarier position even. If you knew some scenarios that involve the scarier side of AI mixed with these weird o's that make this stuff into reality? From The Babylonian Black Box Engineers, coincidentally. I didn’t call them that, they call themselves that.
Straight from “ BYOND” and “DreamMaker” code manual. Trust me when I tell you, these things are weird.
Why do they think they are Babylonians? BBBE’s?
But we are way past the point of doing anything about it ourselves. We have nothing to fight them with and no hope in doing any kind of battle with them, as they control all the systems. And that is why it's a bit of a similitude with 2nd Chronicles 20. It's different in a timeline sense, but the concept is a similitude. Like uhhh Lord? Help us, please!
There is only 1 hope we actually have. Jesus, is literally our only hope. Think about that, it's kind of incredible. If that is so, then we best take all our hope out of the world and invest it wisely. Into Jesus, fully. As that is the best thing to do anyways. We don’t need to change anything, nor can we. We simply have to accept reality, and pray and get close as possible to Jesus.
Maybe I’m right and maybe I’m wrong on the mystery, but ironically it doesn’t matter either way. It doesn’t change that whatever America has done to get to this point, is what it is. And we are heading where we are heading. The utopia dystopia. And the entire world is on board for this ride, not just America. So I simply urge you to place no hope or faith in man or in any country or leadership, but rather in our Lord Jesus. If you haven’t already come to this conclusion in the first place.
