Don't die on the Ammonite Hill-MAN

This title makes more sense than Ammon Hillman, I’d argue. This week a work acquaintance happened to mention this interview he saw that had shaken and disturbed him a bit. After watching, I can’t say that I blame him. Disturbed, is what Ammon seems to be.

There are so many straw men, red herrings, bad syllogisms and all out logical fallacy, I don’t even know where to start. I guess one of the more amazing things is how the show host Danny seems to be impressed by the limited information and swayed by it. Like he’s having his mind blown! Meanwhile, I consider how prone many “Christians” are to just about any theological argument and that is the only thing that concerns me about this type of thing.

Let’s first start with basics. The show opens w Ammon hailing Satan, played off in a joking or facetious way. However, it’s no joke and I’ll just straight up say this guy is on that team. It’s one of the few judgements I’m totally comfortable making. The next thing that stands out in that veign is a double prophecy made about him to him, “A toop of demons will assist him to bring forth the AC”. This is allegedly told to him twice by 2 different people in successive nights…while sleeping on Jezebels dance floor? Ok, man.

What a weird hill to even stand on, while also claiming the same interview he is all about seeking Jesus! He has saved souls, and calls it “delicious”. What a creep.

So at this point, and this is early on, you can already just throw everything this guy says out the proverbial window. He claims to be a classicist and is exceedingly proud of that. But we can easily classify him under “doctrine of demons”. As if he is totally unaware that this would be a bad thing he also claims “classicist” are “Dragons”. We agree on this point, very snake like indeed.

A classicist isn’t a linguist we learn, and can clearly deduce. Rather they study words, and this guy makes the most outrageous claim and perverted deduction that is of his imagination and not in the text that anyone possibly could.

Mark 14:41. This is a very odd and mysterious verse, sure. You could, and people do, have some creative explanations for it. As it happens because this claim from Ammon is so bizarre, I went and read the word for word in Greek. The thing about languages like Greek or Hebrew is that they are layered and require context. This one word depending on the contextual variation we use, can either seem weird or it can make some sense. But this goes way beyond that.

Ammon somehow deduces that Jesus is actually a leader of a child cult and is surely abusing a young boy in the garden before he is taken captive and to be put to death!? Like, what??? The weirdest part is if you watch how giddy this makes him, you can tell that is just what this demon wished it meant.

In reality though? Not only is there nothing in that chapters context that supports such perverse ideas, it just doesn’t make sense according to any context of the entire Bible be it Old or New Testament. It doesn’t matter what language you pick or if you can read the oldest forms of Greek and Hebrew we have. Nope, that simply makes no sense. The only thing in this interview that is clear and makes sense is this is a deranged and perverse mind the likes of the idol worshipping Ammonites.

So ironically the entire thing is Biblical, we are just dealing with the other side of the stories and the irony of the name Ammon is the type of irony that is lined up by God. An Ammon that is a self professed “dragon” under demonic rule.

Now, let’s get into a couple straight up lies told by Ammon just to perpetuate this type of madness. They are too numerous to make a list so these are the most obvious to any student of The Bible. Danny (the host) isn’t that, and Ammon speaks as if he is the supreme authority on what The Bible actually means. It’s about a drug colt, incase you didn’t know :D These devils tho?

  1. All the apostles were little children - If you either read The Bible or are capable of doing a google search you will quickly learn this is not the case. Young men, sure. But Peter for example is old enough to be married. Others are working trade professions. So the way this is stated is simply a lie. Jesus calls them little children, because compared to Him their understanding is exactly like that of little children. They can’t grasp much, during the time Jesus is with them.

  2. Christ is a Greek pharmaceutical term - Nope. Below is a basic search of “Is Christ a Greek Pharmasutical term”? The strongs and Bible hub agree with the search result in this case.

Even Gooles AI search just says “no” if you ask if Christ is a Greek pharmaceutical term.

3. The Bible isn’t translated from Hebrew to Greek, it’s just Greek! Lol, this guy is such a clown! His demons are for real, but he is a total goof ball. I’m not sure if no one told him about the bringing about of the Septuagint Bible, but I find this to be one of the more outrageous claims I have heard. Mostly because it makes 0 sense. It’s not in debate that the Jews are the Hebrews, nor that the 70 (72) Jews were commissioned by the Sanhedrin to translate the Tanakh into Greek.

The dumbest thing about this is I can’t even figure out what Ammon might actually think? Does he think that these Jews just wrote the entire Bible in Greek in 72 days, for some reason? Or does he just think Greeks wrote about the Hebrews history to give them glory, or what?? This is so stupid! The Bible is about the Hebrews, through and through. Why wouldn’t The Tanakh be written and translated from Hebrew!? We will forget about the later Masoretic translation and word numbering system for now, because I can’t even wrap my head around this part. I tried to figure out how you could even think such a thing, but I guess I need some help?

Alright, moving past plain lies. My next favorite part is the irony that Ammon’s adoration for Aristotle, given how absurd and pathetic his logic and reasoning skills are. I’m someone who previously studied the 8 principles of logic and rhetoric, so this is just amusing.

Every point Ammon attempts to make, except for one, are basically just retarded syllogisms. Not even good or half decent ones. Then he will use the ol “red haring” for distraction and or to move on to whatever the next half baked idea happens to be. There is never any actual proof of his logic to tie it down to a solid and searchable theory. And he continually makes the mental slip of saying “right” way too much as people do when they are trying to manipulate. Saying “right” and waiting for an answer is fine, but this “right, right, right” not looking for an answer is a common tale of manipulators along with their head “yes”. Ammon does both, all the time.

Then he likes to throw in “yeah baby” like Austin Powers, when he thinks he is clever.

Now - To be fair. I’m not a classicist, so I’m not that super smart. Maybe I just lack the amazing brain power Ammon believes himself to possess. Of course, he claims that all the Greek and Hebrew scholars and translators are simply willfully ignorant and that is why no one else understands what The Bible is talking about…drug colts. Because of course!
